I'm here to share my absolutely terrible experience, hoping it serves as a cautionary tale. My husband bought me a beautiful anniversary ring seven years ago, sold as an everyday piece. But it's been a nightmare: cracked three times, the unique diamond chain broken twice, and a diamond fell out. This ring has broken four times in seven years, the first break at only two years old! I'm not hard on my jewelry, so it's clearly a poor structural design. Shreve fixed it once, replaced it once, but now they won't stand behind it. The manager was belligerent, and the SF store hasn't returned my emails. This ring cost as much as a nice used car, and I feel compelled to share this to warn others about significant jewelry purchases or repairs from Shreve.
